Dermalogica Skin Care
Dermalogica was developed to bring you a product line free of common irritants and ingredients that could cause breakouts (including lanolin, SD alcohol, mineral oil, artificial colors, and fragrances) and that would improve skin health.  Dermalogica founder was one of the first to classify skin care as a health issue and not just a cosmetic concern.

History
Dermalogica was founded in 1986 by Jane Wurwand who had several years earlier founded the International Dermal Institute, a postgraduate training and research facility designed to bring a new era of professionalism to an industry that became obsessed with shallow beauty and miracle claims.  From the beginning, Dermalogica formulas raised eyebrows in the industry – not only for their cutting-edge ingredients, but also for common ones, they left out.  To this day, Dermalogica products shun the industry norm of using cheap chemicals like Mineral Oil, Lanolin, S.D. Alcohol, artificial fragrances and colors.
